Before joining the Project Delivery team at XYZ I spent more than 15 years overseeing project controls on large scale projects for a general contractor. Like everyone else who’s managed Project Controls, I dealt with a constant problem – bad data in, bad data out.

Today, we released new functionality that gives construction project teams unprecedented insights and tracking capabilities. Construction project teams can deploy XYZ Reality’s field engineering solution and award-winning AR headset, the Atom™, to accurately track installation progress using 3D holograms and enhance the process for managing project costs and schedules.

With the addition of project controls, we’re expanding the value of XYZ Reality’s augmented reality technology beyond just quality assurance and allowing project teams to validate work completion and progress with complete accuracy in real time. No more waiting weeks on end for updates.

At XYZ we’re developing Augmented Reality (AR) solutions that give construction teams the ability to verify the installation live in the field with your most recent design model. This is done to engineering-grade precision. By not just tracking the accurate install but also the progress of the install you now have live progress data that can be visualized easily in a 4D model. Being able to view the progress of your project as it happens removes any lag on information, allowing you to make the right decisions based on objective information.
