From Vienna to Vegas: The XYZ Roadshow

September

DCD Connect London

We're excited to kick off our roadshow with a visit to the Business Design Centre for DCD Connect London on September 17th & 18th. Just around the corner from our office, this event is the perfect opportunity to check out how we’re transforming data center construction.

Our Founder & CEO, David Mitchell, along with Mission Critical Director, Waleed Zafar, will lead an insightful Lunch and Learn session on the first day, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m in Room D, Balcony East. They'll delve into strategies to reduce time to market and accelerate data center construction timelines. Topics will include how eliminating rework and enhancing quality can significantly lower the cost per MW, and the ways in which using objective data can mitigate risks in data center construction.

Throughout the event, our Senior Solutions Engineer, Joe Hughes, will also be running live demos. This is a fantastic chance to see our real-time project controls in action and experience our engineering grade augmented reality™ headset firsthand.

DataCloud USA 2024

Also, kicking off our roadshow across the pond, we will be at the Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa in Austin, Texas for DataCloud USA on September 17-18. You can find Dan Fleming, Ken Pritchard, Gabriel Gavrilenko and Tanner Schmiedl from the XYZ team there! Join them for a live demo of our real-time project controls and engineering grade augmented reality headset, the Atom™. Or just pop by for a chat- they’ll be happy to see you either way!

Data Center Anti-Conference

You won’t want to miss us here! This anti-conference will be nothing like what you are used to at a trade show, and we are so excited to be there. Join us on the first day to catch our very own former PGA pro, Ash Curzon, for free golf lessons at the River Place Country Club!

David Mitchell will be back in action, giving an inspiring talk on his journey in the data center industry and the vision for the future. Throughout the event, several of the XYZ team will be hosting interactive demos. This is one that you certainly won’t want to miss, we can’t wait to see you all.

RPC Primavera User Conference

Our first event to kick off October will see us at the Oracle Helion, where Eoin Manning will once again be giving an insightful presentation on the importance of precision and efficiency in mission critical construction. He will be joined by a band of three running demos: Joe Hughes, Ash Curzon, and Gareth Bowers!

National DICE Construction, Design and Development

Another one you surely will not want to miss! The XYZ team is heading to Dallas for DICE Central Dallas. At this event, our Mission Critical Director, Dan Fleming will be taking part in a panel session exploring ‘Building at Scale and For Speed-to-Market: Impacts on Design and Delivery’ alongside representatives from Microsoft and Nucor. Ken Pritchard and Matt Torma will also be there running demos.

Augmented Reality Expo EU

Our first trip outside of the UK and USA will see us giving a presentation in the glorious city of Vienna, Austria at AWE. Our Head of Spatial Computing (and recent Hack-a-thon Champion) Mark Ransley will be giving a presentation on the incredible technology that powers our augmented reality headsets, and how it's changing the game of construction.

GeN+1 Halloween Party

A spooky end to our magnificent roadshow will see Waleed Zafar and several members of the XYZ team back in action at another unorthodox event that you won’t want to miss! This event is part of our mission with GeN+1, a community established to support the younger generation – and those young at heart – within the data center sector. We hope to see you there!
